John 5:30
By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my
judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who
sent me.
John 8:15
You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no-one.
(16) But if I do judge, my decisions are right, because I am not
alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me.
John 8:28
So Jesus said, ‘ . . . I
do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught
me.’
John 14:10
. . . The words I say to you are not just my own.
Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.
Note also this prophecy of the Messiah:
Isaiah 11:3
and he will delight in the fear of the LORD. He will not
judge by what he sees with his eyes, or decide by what he hears
with his ears
John 5:19
Jesus gave them this answer: ‘I tell you the truth, the Son
can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father
doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.’
