    Ivan Bramlett

Ivan says, “I take care of the church sign every week. Most of the time I go to the church on Monday morning and have no idea of what I’m going to put up there. Then it’s like ‘right there.’ God does it, not me.

Just getting up in the morning is a blessing! I was in a bad car wreck back in 1989. I died three times and was in a coma for eight weeks. When I came out of it, I lost about nine years of which I have no knowledge. I don’t remember teaching my children how to ride a bike, helping out with homework and so forth. I had even had to learn how to eat again. I have dentures now because I forced a fork too far into my mouth. I was going to school at the time, (robotics) but the doctors said there was too much brain damage to go back.

I can’t count money or even tie a pair of shoes, but the Holy Spirit can even use someone like me. Makes me want to shed tears. He gives me thoughts to put up on the sign. Not me, but Christ Jesus in me!”
